The Holy Cross Cattlemen's Association is a long-time supporter of youth who is learning about, and are invested in, the beef industry. In years past, the HCCA has contributed to young men and women who are participating in the Garfield County 4-H program with Beef projects by investing in their futures through add ons at the sale.
The youth beef premium program is a scholarship program that was designed to encourge youth to learn more about Holy Cross Cattlemen’s (& Cattlewomen’s) Association (HCCA) and beef production. The board of HCCA has established requirements for the HCCA Garfield County Producer Beef Premium Awards to encourage youth to learn who their local cattlemen are, what our association does, and how they play a part in the beef industry in our area. Candidates must be members of the 4-H program, and have to complete specific requirements to qualify for the Beef Premium Program.
